Independent guide · not the official website

Data is the model input, not the final answer.

A credible source does not make every simulated result precise. The important task is to separate measured indicators from derived estimates and narrative assumptions.

Main sources

The public site cites UN World Population Prospects, World Bank, WHO, UNESCO, UNDP, UNICEF, ILO, UNAIDS, UNODC, World Happiness Report and Our World in Data. Indicators cover births, population, health, income, education, inequality, safety and hazards.

Main limitations

Source years differ, national averages hide regional and household gaps, missing values need substitutes, and correlations do not prove causation. Future scenarios add more custom assumptions than historical simulations.
