Words on the screen
Two birth weights
Babies born now uses yearly births. The 8 billion alive now uses population. The 172 places are not equal. Where you were actually born (optional) keeps a comparison in this browser. It is not the next birthplace.
Four worlds
The past, Today, The future, and Any world are chosen before birth. Each life starts at age 0. The year range for the past is on the past-world page.
Pace and speed
About 30 min, About 1 hour, and About 1.5 hours are how long play takes if the life reaches life expectancy. They are not the age at death. Once the life starts, Pause, 1× through 16×, and Next decision appear. Auto mode plays the choices.
Four stats
Health, Happiness, Knowledge, and Relationships run from 0 to 100. A high number raises a chance. It does not decide the year. Income is not one of these bars.
Map and curve
Life map is 1 square = 1 year. Darkness is that year happiness. Survival curve is Share of those born the same year still alive. The country route appears after the end, and only when there is more than one country or a trip.
What stays
Past lives are finished lives in this browser. Without a sign-in they stay in this browser. After sign-in, lives and memorials join the account. A finished life stays free for 3 days in the life archive. Keeping it longer is paid, and Stripe handles the payment.
