Cards and what stays on record
Two cards
The screen just before life begins has Share birth card. After the life ends, a separate card can be made for that life. Both are records of the simulation, not proof about a real person.
Passing the image
When the device can share an image file, the share sheet opens. When it cannot, saving the image starts. If the card is still being drawn, the game asks you to wait and press again. Inside another app, the buttons are blocked and the game asks you to press and hold the image.
X and Threads
The share sheet can open X and Threads in a new tab, with the link and a preview of the picture. Attaching the image itself means saving it and adding it yourself.
Words and a link
The words and the link can be copied. Copying does not move this browser Past lives to another device.
What stays in this browser
Finished lives are listed in Past lives in this browser. See again opens only a row that still has a snapshot. Without a sign-in, the list stays in this browser, and clearing site data removes it. Pressing Move my lives does not itself move a life.
The life archive and three days
After sign-in, lives and memorials join the account and open on another device. A finished life stays free for 3 days in the life archive and its memorial. Keeping it longer is optional: this life only, or a monthly pass. Stripe handles the payment.
When a card does not appear
If the card cannot be made, the game asks for a reload and another try. There is no death card in the middle of a life. The birth card is on the screen just before the life begins.
Questions about sharing
The card and the browser list are different.
Does sharing need a sign-in?
The image and the words can be made without a sign-in. They join an account only after you sign in.
Does the image always save?
It depends on the browser. If saving does not start, press and hold the card, or capture the screen.
Is a shared life the past-lives list?
No. The card is an image to pass on. Past lives is the list of finished lives kept in this browser.
